PLC control cabinets (control cabinets) can complete equipment automation and process automation control, realize network functions, and feature stable performance, scalability, and strong anti-interference. They are the core and soul of modern industry. PLC control cabinets and frequency converter cabinets can be customized to meet user requirements and can be equipped with human-machine interface touch screens for easy operation.
Components of PLC electric control cabinet (control cabinet)
1. A main air switch is the power control for the entire cabinet. I believe every cabinet must have one.
2. The PLC should be selected according to the project needs. For example, if the project is small, an integrated PLC can be used directly, but if the project is large, a modular or card-type PLC may be required, and redundancy (two sets of PLCs can be used alternately) may also be required.
3.24VDC power supply A 24VDC switching power supply. Most PLCs come with their own 24VDC power supply. Whether to use this switching power supply depends on whether it is really needed.
4. Relays: While PLCs can typically send commands directly to control circuits, they may also be relayed through a relay. For example, if your PLC output is 24VDC, but your control circuit diagram requires the PLC to supply 220VAC to a node, you can add a relay to the PLC output. This means the relay activates when the command is issued, but the control circuit node is then connected to the normally open or normally closed terminal of the relay. The decision to use a relay depends on the situation.
5. Terminal blocks: These are essential components of every cabinet and can be configured based on the number of signals. For a simple PLC control cabinet, these are the basic components. If your control cabinet requires other components, the number may increase depending on the situation. For example, if you need to power certain on-site instruments or small control boxes, you may need to increase the number of circuit breakers. Or if you need to connect the PLC to a position controller, you may need to add a switch or something similar. It all depends on the situation.
