NE50 elevators use belt + hopper to lift and transport materials. They have been widely used in grain, coal, fly ash, cement, crushed ore, quartz sand, carbon and other industries.

NE50 elevator working principle:

The NE50 elevator features an inflow feed system. Material flows into the hopper and is lifted by a chain link before being discharged under gravity. This series of elevators offers a wide range of specifications (11 types, ranging from NE15 to NE800) and a wide lifting capacity. They also offer high productivity and low energy consumption, making them a promising alternative to other types of elevators. Key parameters are shown in the table below. This fully enclosed housing allows for a low chain speed and virtually no backflow, resulting in low reactive power loss, low noise, and a long service life.

The NE50 elevator is a chain bucket elevator with a hybrid or gravity unloading mechanism and a scoop-type loading mechanism. It is suitable for conveying abrasive materials with a bulk density less than 1.5t/m³, such as powdered, granular, or small, easily scooped materials with a temperature below 250°C. These materials include coal, cement, gravel, sand, fertilizer, and grain.

The NE50 elevator’s traction member is a plate chain, with hoppers fixed to the traction member at intervals. The traction member, through sprockets at the elevator’s head and bottom, forms a closed loop system with an ascending loaded branch and a descending unloaded branch. A drive device at the elevator’s head transmits power to the traction member and hopper via the head sprocket. Material enters the elevator hopper through a feed port at the elevator’s bottom. The hopper lifts the material to the head and discharges it there. The material exiting the hopper is discharged through a discharge port at the elevator’s head. The elevator’s hopper and traction member’s head and bottom wheels are housed in a fully sealed housing, ensuring dust-free material transportation.

Features of the main components of NE50 elevator:

1. Upper device: equipped with tracks (double-row tracks) to prevent the chain from swinging, a backstop to prevent the hopper from rotating, the material fills the lower casing, and a rubber plate is installed at the discharge port to prevent material from returning.

2. Intermediate section: Some intermediate sections are equipped with tracks (double-row sections) to prevent the chain from swinging during operation, and some intermediate sections are equipped with inspection doors for easy maintenance.

3. Lower device: Equipped with a tensioning device. NE15~NE50 uses spring tensioning, while NE100~NE800 uses a weight box tensioning.

4. The upper and lower sprockets are made of ZG310-570. The whole is tempered, and the tooth surface is quenched with HB229-269 HRC40~48.
