Activated Carbon Purifier

Activated carbon adsorption box

Category: Activated Carbon PurifierProducts

Activated carbon adsorption tanks are a commonly used water treatment device. As pretreatment for water desalination systems, they absorb residual chlorine that can’t be removed by the initial filtration stage, extending the service life of downstream equipment, improving effluent quality, and preventing pollution, particularly from free residual chlorine poisoning in downstream reverse osmosis membranes and ion exchange resins. They also absorb small molecules and other pollutants leaking from the initial stage, significantly removing odors, colloids, pigments, and heavy metal ions in water, while also reducing COD. They can further reduce the SDI value of RO feed water to <5 and TOC <2.0ppm.

effect

1) The activated carbon adsorption filter cylinder adopts a hydraulic simulation long diameter design and uses activated carbon with a reasonable particle size and a specific surface area greater than 1000㎡/g, so that it has both upper layer filtration and lower layer adsorption functions, thereby improving the water purification degree and the service life of the carbon.

2) Residual chlorine content in water after treatment with activated carbon adsorption filter: ≤0.1PPM.

3) It has the ability to remove odor, pollutants, colloids, iron and residual chlorine in water.

4) It also has a good effect on reducing the turbidity and color of water, purifying water quality, and reducing pollution to subsequent systems (reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, ion exchanger).
