Plasma Purifier

Plasma waste gas treatment equipment

Category: Plasma PurifierProducts

Plasma waste gas treatment equipment produces chemically active particles such as electrons, ions, free radicals, and excited molecules. Pollutants in the waste gas react with these relatively active groups and are eventually converted into substances such as CO2 and H2O, thereby achieving the purpose of purifying the waste gas.

The mechanism of pollutant removal by plasma waste gas treatment equipment:

During the chemical reaction of plasma waste gas treatment equipment, the energy transfer during the reaction of plasma transferring chemical energy is roughly as follows:

(1) Electric field + electron → electron

(2) Electron + molecule (or atom) → (excited atom, excited group, free radical) active group

(3) Active group + molecule (atom) → product heat

(4) Active group + active group → product heat

As can be seen from the above process, electrons first gain energy from the electric field and then transfer that energy to molecules or atoms through excitation or ionization. The energized molecules or atoms are excited, and some are ionized, becoming reactive groups. These reactive groups then collide with molecules or atoms, and with each other, to generate stable products and heat. Electrons can also be captured by substances with high electron affinities, such as halogens and oxygen, forming negative ions. These negative ions are highly chemically active and play an important role in chemical reactions.

The principle of low-temperature plasma exhaust gas purifier to remove pollutants:

Under the action of an external electric field, a large number of energetic electrons generated by dielectric discharge bombard pollutant molecules, causing them to ionize, dissociate and excite, and then trigger a series of complex physical and chemical reactions, which transform complex macromolecular pollutants into simple small molecular substances, or transform substances into low-toxic and low-harm substances, thereby degrading and removing pollutants.
