The XLP/B cyclone dust collector is a dry, high-speed cyclone dust collector with a bypass. It is available in both the suction-type X-type and the pressure-type Y-type. The X and Y types are further divided into the N-type (counter-rotating) and S-type (counter-rotating) depending on the direction of volute rotation. This should be specified when ordering. The inlet air velocity is 12-27 seconds.
Working principle of XLP/B cyclone dust collector:
After the dust-laden gas enters the dust collector through the air inlet, it undergoes a rotational motion, splitting it into upper and lower airflows in a double vortex motion. This creates a strong separation effect at the bottom of the exhaust port, at the boundary between the two vortices. Finer, lighter dust particles are carried upward by the upper vortex, forming a strong swirling dust ring beneath the top cover. This causes dust particles to accumulate and are drawn out through the upper opening of the bypass separation chamber. These flow through the spiral grooves in the lower part of the bypass separation chamber, then through the return air inlet on the outer wall of the dust collector into the lower part of the dust collector cylinder, where they merge with the internal airflow. The dust is then separated and falls into the ash hopper. The coarser, heavier dust particles, carried by the lower vortex, follow a similar process to the upper vortex along the lower section of the dust collector, where they are separated and enter the ash hopper.
XLP/B cyclone dust collector is an ideal high-speed air purification equipment for coal, electric power, chemical, metallurgy, foundry and other industries.
