Working principle of FU chain conveyor

There is internal friction and pressure between the particles in the bulk material. When the conveyor chain and its accessories move, the bulk material is subjected to a tensile force in the same direction as the conveying motion in the machine slot of the conveyor, which increases the internal pressure between the particles and thus increases the internal friction between the particles. When the internal friction force is greater than the friction force between the bulk material and the side wall of the machine slot, the bulk material will move forward along the direction of the conveyor chain, and the increased internal pressure stabilizes the interlayer of the bulk material, thus forming a continuous flow as a whole, like water flow. When the ratio of the material layer height to the machine slot meets specific conditions, the material flow is stable and the material speed is approximately equal to the chain speed.
